It's called Four Square," Miss Shelly said. To do this at home, you'll need: - a driveway or blacktop surface - chalk - a large, bouncy ball The Rules of Four Square: 1. When the ball enters your square, you must hit it and bounce it into another square. 2. If you miss the ball, you're out. 3. If you catch the ball, you're out. 4. If you bounce the ball on a line, you're out. 5. If you hit the ball out of the big square without bouncing it in any square first, you're out. 6. If the ball bounces twice in your square, you're out. 7. When you are out, you move to square 1. The person in square 1 moves to square 2, and so on. 8. The person in square 4 does not move unless he or she is out. 9.
